2005-03-09 [RabidSphinx]: i love my characters, they are all *real* to me, and i can't be totally *unheard* of because eventually, i have to use a hair colour for a character that some other author has used on one of their characters, and sometimes, people *are* born in France, or in another place where another author's character may originate, or they may have a similar interest (like an instrument or art) like another author's character...that doesn't mean i'm ripping them off, i just can't *not* do something that hasn't been done before without making something totally crazy that makes no sense...

2005-03-09 [RabidSphinx]: *nods8 i have simmilar termonalogy with some of my vampires as other authors and people say i rip off Hamilton, and i'm like, dude, she and i are BOTH writing about vampires and neither of us actually came up with the idea, so really, we are BOTH ripping off someone else...i just happened to think of vampires in a certain way when i started writing, and then i read some of her work and saw she saw some of the same things about her vampires...there is nothing wrng with that, but our vampires are actually *very* different so i don't know why people bitch so much...i use the word "Lycan" and suddenly i'm a rip-off wen *really* a wereanimal is called a "Lycanthrope" in actual greek mythology
